What ABA therapy can help with

ABA is most commonly used to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It is an effective approach for building independence and meaningful skills across a wide range of areas:

  • Communication, including limited speech, late talking, or the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
  • Challenging behaviors or frequent meltdowns
  • Transitions and changes in routine
  • Social interaction and connecting with peers
  • Sensory sensitivities that affect daily life
  • Self-care and daily living skills
  • School readiness and classroom participation

Woven Care's ABA programs in Colorado Springs focus on building practical skills that support greater independence, confidence, and quality of life, grounded in each child's unique strengths and needs.

Woven Care's approach to ABA therapy in Colorado Springs

Play-based and naturalistic

Our therapists use a naturalistic, play-based approach that follows each child’s interests and meets them where they are. Learning happens in the context of real activities and everyday routines, making skills more meaningful and easier to generalize outside of the clinic.

Personalized to every child

ABA at Woven Care is never one-size-fits-all. Every program begins with a thorough evaluation by a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). The team builds an individualized treatment plan around the child’s specific strengths, needs, and family goals—and adjusts it continuously as the child grows.

Care in the right setting

Services are offered in Woven Care’s clinics and, when appropriate, in the home. The care team will determine the setting that best supports each child’s needs. Our in-clinic services are available up to age 8 and in-home ABA services are available up to age 21.

Coordinated with the full care team

When a child needs more than ABA, Woven Care’s integrated model makes it easy. Children in the ABA program may also access: physical therapy, or occupational therapy, Woven Care’s speech therapists coordinate directly with those teams. One care plan, one location, and one team working together means nothing gets missed and progress builds across all areas of development.speech therapy and other services. One team, one plan, one location, so nothing falls through the cracks.

Family and caregiver involvement

Families and caregivers are active partners in the care process. The team shares progress in plain language, explains the approach, and provides practical tools to support skill-building at home and in the community.
